English and Fun with Emma has been serving the community of Ramat Aviv for 5 years. In collaboration with Milk and Cookies Kindergartens; we have provided good quality English enrichment activities, camps and more. English and fun with Emma works hard to provide the right balance of child based inquiry, creativity and fun into each lesson. So each child feels inspired, and connected throughout the process.
ABOUT ENGLISH AND FUN WITH EMMA
Hi, My name is Emma and I founded the company English and Fun with Emma . I am a kindergarten teacher with 20 years experience. I have worked in school and after-school programs; I currently work at Milk and Cookies Gan in Ramat Aviv as the educational director and manager of Mota Gur. I started this project last year when a group of parents from the gan asked me to do an activity in the noon for their 5 children! Then their siblings wanted something too. So the english club opened and now we have expanded offering many different activities but with one main focus, to enrich and maintain children's spoken english and reading and writing skills.

LEVEL 1 SOUNDSEEKERS - SUNDAY 4:30PM
ages 3-4
An exciting program for young children to learn the alphabet through songs games, famous nursery rhymes and art. The children start to make sense of phonemes and understanding the concept of sounds. The specially designed games and activities Also nourish the children’s vocabulary and improve language acquisition.
LEVEL 2 - SUNDAY 5:30PM
Ages 5-6
In this program the children learn to read and write following the Jolly phonics program. Through songs and interactive activity the children grow phonetic knowledge, and begin to blend sounds to read words. The children also play games and work on inquiry projects that are of interest and connection to the letters they are learning.
LEVEL 3 : MONDAY 4:30PM

At this level the children should be reading short sentences and blending properly. They will begin to learn diagraphs and blends. They do lots of comprehension and reading activities to improve their fluency; and play games to enrich their language. Children at this level should be writing independently and learning to spell. They work with jolly phonics level 3 and 4 (This class is very popular and fills fast!)
LEVEL 4 : MONDAY 5:30PM
Ages 8-9 (but also older too)
At the beginning of this level children should Have good oral skills; be able to construct simple sentences, and form their own ideas and opinions. They should be able to stay on topic when they are speaking, use some descriptive language and ask questions to clarify meaning. They should be writing and have a large bank of sight words. The children work on jolly grammar level 1 and 2.
This class also involves debate and presentation
form research and discussions about the issues facing our world today.

ENGLISH EXPLORERS : WEDNESDAY’S AND THURSDAY’S
English as a foreign language
ages 5+
This is a specially designed course for children to learn how to speak and understand the english language. DRAMA FOR TOTS

Ages 3-5
This program is designed especially for 3-5 year olds and explores creative expression, with a link to literature. Classes begin with a story and the children then follow on the story using their own ideas and improvisation! They also play lots of drama games and build confidence and self esteem!
ENGLISH THROUGH DRAMA
Ages 6-12
In this program children explore the various aspects of theatre and film. Using storytelling pantomiming and many other forms the children will create their own mini production! They will have a chance to create costumes scripts and scenery. They will also learn about behind the scenes work of the stage and have an opportunity to learn video editing and production.
ART
Ages 6-12
Our amazing art program introduces children to the world of Artists! Each week they learn about a different Artist and their history. Then using their imagination and the facts they learned, they create their own interpretation of the artists work. The children are surrounded by cultural diversity and also introduced to classical music as well in a highly creative way.
